Silver Line's® new Series 400 Poured Basement Window Systems offers an innovative design solution with timesaving, pinpoint accuracy for basement windows, that virtually eliminates the possibility of distortion. In addition to traditional poured concrete foundations, the system can be used with Insulated Concrete Forms (ICFs).
The Series 400 is a two-piece basement window system featuring a wood reinforced, vinyl Poured Insert Frame and the option of a Hopper or Sliding Window. The wood reinforced insert frame maintains its integrity during the pour for better accuracy. The patent-pending injection molded Hopper and Sliding Window units are air- and water-tight, providing protection from the elements. These strong, seamless, cost-effective basement windows never need painting for easy maintenance. The poured insert frame and window are shipped separately, so the windows can be conveniently stored away until the foundation and framing construction are complete.
Once the foundation has dried, the wood reinforcements are removed and the windows can be neatly and accurately inserted into the frame. A snap-in retaining bead secures the window in place, with installation completed in just minutes!
The new Silver Line Series 400 Poured Insert Frame is available for depths of 8", 10" and 12" poured walls. The basement window designs feature energy saving insulated glass, full perimeter weatherstripping that eliminates air infiltration and user friendly sashes that are completely removable for easy cleaning. The Hopper window is available in four stock sizes: Standard 32 X 15, 17, 19 and 23. The Sliding Window is available in three stock sizes: Standard 32 X 15, 17 and 19. A welded 48 X 48 Sliding Window to meet egress is another option. All window styles have options of Clear Insulated Glass or LoE2 Insulated Glass with screens included. The windows have a limited lifetime warranty on materials and workmanship and are available as ENERGY STAR® qualified with the appropriate glazing.
